My Story

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse organizations and industries, helping them create and implement effective HR strategies that foster a positive work culture.

My journey in HR began right after high school when I enlisted in the military as a Human Resources Specialist.  Since then, I have worked with organizations of all sizes advising on HR policies and procedures, Labor and Employee Relations, EEO, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. However, it was my own experience with discrimination that fueled my passion for creating more equitable and inclusive workplaces.

Early in my career, I experienced discrimination based on my race and religion and my most recent experience with discrimination as a federal employee led me to founding the Equal Employment Opportunity Advocacy Firm.

Personally dealing with discrimination taught me firsthand the pain and frustration that discrimination causes, and it inspired me to use my skills and expertise to make a more positive impact in the world. I vowed to do everything in my power to create inclusive workplaces where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other category that is protected by law.

Armed with the knowledge and skills I gained through my education and my own professional and personal experiences, I have now set out to help employees become educated about their rights, provide representation, resources, and support navigating the process for filing a charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Over the years, I have worked tirelessly within the federal government to implement successful programs that weren't always enforced.   I have been committed to causes to advance Diversity and Inclusion while watching others take credit and receive recognition.  While I am proud of the work I have been able to accomplish within the government, the impact is not great enough to help those who are mostly impacted by discrimination.  I believe that the federal government is on the right path but until the government as a whole are on board for building equitable, inclusive work environments, with proper checks and balances; I must work directly with the underrepresented communities who are impacted by discrimination everyday.

I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with all of you.  Whether you are an individual looking to become more educated about your rights or an organization seeking to create a more inclusive workplace, I am here to help.
